Last night, I received a very nice email from David Maraniss, the author of When Pride Still Mattered (the source for Broadway's upcoming LOMBARDI).He had very complimentary words for the blog, even my little constructive criticism about the socks and facemasks.
I'm relieved he took the comments in the spirit in which they were intended and not as more Internet snarking; he offered to pass them along to the costume designer.
As if the show itself wasn't enough, more reason to look forward to the opening.
